You’ll be aware that the Council have just started a new consultation on Portobello High School, and the proposal for a Private Bill through the Scottish Parliament to allow the school to be built on Portobello Park.
Information leaflets are being sent to all households in the area, and the consultation will run till the end of January. It’s very important that people respond to the consultation as the outcome will decide what happens next.
A name and address have to be given so that the Council can tell where responses have come from, and to ensure that only one response per individual is recorded, but that doesn’t mean only one response per household is allowed.
It’s perfectly OK for every adult within a household to respond individually.Should you wish to take part in the consultation, information leaflets and the questionnaire are available from the school office, as well as Portobello Library.
